JNI aid group pays school fees of 6,000 students in Bauchi

The Nigerian Aid Group of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Bauchi State chapter, has settled the school fees of over 6,000 dropouts to enable them to continue their education in various institutions of learning in the state.

The group also donated blood to patients in hospitals, and paid fines for some prisoners serving jail terms in various correctional centres across the state.

The national director of the aid group, who doubles as state chairman in Bauchi, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Sani, said the gesture was part of activities marking the 48th anniversary of the JNI in the state.

Sani explained that the aid group was established with the sole aim of humanitarian service to Nigerians, and reaffirmed its commitment to continue serving humanity irrespective of religion or ethnic differences. 

Also speaking, a renowned Islamic scholar, Dr. Ibrahim Adam Dasina, emphasised the need for Muslim youths to engage in various profitable ventures to become self-reliant and reduce overdependence on others.
