Jigawa treats 1.5m children against malaria

The Malaria Control Programme in Jigawa says it has treated 1.5 million children in the just concluded Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) campaign in the state. 

Malam Bilya Haruna, Coordinator of the programme, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Dutse. 

Haruna said that the exercise was conducted with the support of the Malaria Consortium between July and Oct. 2021, across the 27 local government areas of the state.  (NAN)
