Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has stressed his administration’s resolve to partner with governments and private sector to move the state forward.
According to the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Print Media, Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro, the governor disclosed this when he received the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, in Government House, Dutse on Thursday.

He commended NITT for choosing Jigawa for it 2021 annual field study tour to examine transport and logistics systems in the state.
He said his government will partner with the institute in areas of planning a modern transport master plan and other trainings to assist Jigawa youths to become self-reliant and gainfully employed ultimately.
Speaking, the director general of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, Dr Bayero Salih Farah, commended Governor Badaru for the developmental strides of the state under his leadership, which are aimed at improving the living standard of the good people of the state.
Bayero Salih Farah said, “We are particularly impressed with the efforts towards improving the transport system in the state such as construction of road network infrastructure across length and breadth of the State, provision of vehicle loans to members of Road Transport Workers in Jigawa State.”
