Jigawa okays N12,000 minimum to pensioners

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubukar of Jigawa State has approved the implementation of the new negotiated minimum monthly pension to N12,000 in the state.

This was disclosed by the state’s Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila on Thursday.

He said a circular indicating the pension increase for pensioners would be issued to all relevant stakeholders for immediate implementation with effect from January, 2023.
