Jigawa commences hajj deposit collection

Jigawa state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the collection of minimum deposit of N1 million hajj fare for this year’s pilgrimage to the holy land.

The state Executive Secretary (ES) of the board, Mohammed Sani Alhassan, made this known yesterday while speaking with journalists in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.

He stated that any of the intending pilgrim, could effect the payment of the deposit at the designated zonal centers or do so directly at board’s headquarter in Dutse.

The ES, urged farmers to repeat the records set in the previous years of being the highest among the intending pilgrims from the state.
