The Islamic movement of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah, JIBWIS, said about N100 million has been realized from the sale of its rams’ skin received during the last Eid el-Kabir festival.
The national leader of the group, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, announced this on Saturday in Abuja, during the students’ graduation ceremony of Quran Memorisation School which it runs in the nation’s capital.

He said all the funds realised would be channelled toward its university project – Salam University, which is under construction in Hadejia, Jigawa State.
Bala Lau while congratulating the graduating students comprising of 22 females and 9 males, charged them to use what they learnt from the Holy book, adding that people should see sound character in them.
Lau, said N5m was donated to the school during the event by a father of 3 graduands who preferred to remain anonymous.
