Jang signs N225bn appropriation bill into law

The budget is made up of a recurrent expenditure projection of N82 billion and capital expenditure of N143 billion, according to the governor.
In his budget address at the Government House in Rayfield, yesterday, Jang said the budget would be implemented as one of “Continuity and Inclusive Growth V”, following that of 2013 budget which was tagged Budget of Continuity and Inclusive Growth IV.
“Having gone through the scrutiny of the State House of Assembly, I am glad they have passed it as a financial document that will guide this last but crucial lap of the administration,” Jang said.
Reiterating the promise he has often made of completing all projects that his government has initiated, Jang said, “a driving force behind this budget is our administration’s conviction that service delivery and the honour of our covenant with the people is the ultimate, while time is of the essence. We are resolved on working on our projects till the last minute of the administration. We remain committed towards completing the numerous projects. That is our focus.”
