Ja’iz Bank, Tiamin to boost rice production

Ja’iz Bank has partnered with Tiamin Rice Mill, and the Bauchi State Government to boost rice production and create more jobs in the state.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ja’iz Bank, Alhaji Hassan Usman disclosed this when he visited Governor Bala Mohammed, to seek support to replicate the success recorded in Kano state.

He explained that the project will complement the efforts of the government in improving agricultural production and boosting Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

Chairman of the multi-billion naira rice milling company, Alhaji Aminu Ahmed, solicited the support of the governor for the speedy commencement of rice production and  packaging by the company.

Ahmed said it is one of the best rice producing companies in Nigeria and the company will record more successes operating in the state.

Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed, pledged to support the inventors on the smooth take off of the project.

The governor also disclosed that it was his desire to collaborate with Ja’iz Bank, noting that the state Pilgrims Welfare Board will use the bank for hajj operations.
