The police in Oyo State have arrested 11 suspected armed robbers terrorising hotel operators in Oyo town, as well as Ibadan, the state capital.
The state’s commissioner of police, Ngozi Onadeko, who disclosed this at the command’s headquarters, said among the suspects were the October 23, 2021, Abolongo jailbreak escapees.

The arrested suspects, according to her, are Segun Amusan, Alabi Adam, Ibrahim Toheeb, Toheeb Adetunji, Ayodeji Roland, Oluokun Yinka, Abdulsalam Sakariyau, Yusuf Azeez, Shogbesan Akinola, Adunbarin Idowu and Yusuf Ahmed.
