Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) has urged politicians and those in leadership position to emulate Late Yusuf Maitama Sule’s transparency, patriotism, incorruptibility and hospitality.

The group made the call in a condolence message in Jos, yesterday, through its National Chairman, Ulama Council, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir.

The group also described the deceased as a nationalist and an epitome of justice and truthfulness.

Sheikh Jingir explained that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had said the best of mankind was he who did things to the benefit of mankind, saying people had benefited from the late Maitama Sule through his selfless services.

“Late Maitama Sule had sincerely and truthfully worked tirelessly for the unity of Nigeria; he impacted positive things for its development and the world at large,” he said.
