Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has declared that the state, under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration, will continue to support and collaborate with the federal government to improve the standard of living of its citizens.
The governor made this known on Thursday while receiving the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu, and other traditional title holders of the Emirate during the traditional Sallah homage at the Government House, Bauchi.
Governor Mohammed emphasised that there is no need to allow political party differences to be a barrier, stating that the essence of politics is working for the people.

“We in Bauchi State are very fortunate with the APC-led federal government. We have two key ministers in the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, as well as Foreign Affairs, occupied by two personalities from the state, my younger brothers, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate and Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar. They are both doing well,” the governor said.
He explained, “Though we belong to different political parties, we are working together for the good of the entire state. That is the beauty of politics and the essence of democracy and democratic governance.”
