‘It’s difficult getting logistic providers in Nigeria’

The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Corporateneeds.com, Nduka Udeh, has expressed dismay over how Nigerian businesses have struggled for so long to find good service providers in the clearing and handling sector.
In a statement made available to Daily Trust in Abuja yesterday, Udeh noted with concern the difficulties in finding low cost, reliable and fast logistics and procurement providers.

Udeh pointed out that clearing of goods at the ports was riddled with issues like multiplicity of fake clearing agents, thereby increasing the overall cost of business for most companies.
He said a delay in delivery either by air, land or sea was a common business challenge and finding cost effective warehousing was even more challenging.
