(…continued from last week)
1Samuel 1:1-20
How Hannah got her miracle
Psalm 30:5, “… weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
4. The priest spoke. If there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer! Her answer came when the Lord spoke through the priest and said to her, “Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.” You need a priest to speak into your life. As a priest ordained by God, I speak peace into your situation, your marriage, your finances and your body. I declare that it’s going to be alright! God has granted your petition! Receive your answer now, in the name of Jesus! Say out loud, ‘I will not end up like this!’; ‘It’s going to be alright!’
This is what I want you to see: it takes light to survive darkness. That is why the Bible says in Isaiah 60:1-2, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. [2] For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Light talks about revelation. It takes revelation to experience liberation.
5. She believed and rose up to eat. Her attitude changed from frustration to expectation. She was not yet pregnant but she knew it was coming. Her hope was now based on what God said. Take this word and go home with it. ‘It’s going to be alright!’
6. The Lord remembered Hannah and she conceived. God remembers his promises. You can bet on that. She conceived and delivered her first child Samuel. She had five more! You are going home with your answers! You are going home with your miracle!
7. She returned to give thanks unto God. God knew that she would fulfil her vow. God could trust her. Many walk away without testifying after a miracle. But Hannah returned to pay her vows and give thanks unto God. Praise God continually and give him thanks for answered prayer even before your miracle manifests. In your waking moments, think on the greatness of God and his goodness. Count your blessings and faith will increase. Lift your heart to God constantly in gratitude and in increasing praise for what he has done, what he is doing for you now. Remember Philippians 4:6-7 let your request be made known to God…with thanksgiving. Thanksgiving and praise go hand in hand. Maintain that all things are possible to the believer. Mark 9:23. ALL THINGS! Constantly maintain that all things are possible to him that believes.
Apostle Paul and Silas were put in jail but at midnight they prayed and praised the Lord and the chains fell off and the prison doors opened.
Acts 16:25-26, “And at midnight Paul and Silas PRAYED, AND SANG PRAISES unto God: and the prisoners heard them. [26] And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.”
Notice that heavens response manifested not after they prayed but after they praised! You will praise God if you believe you have received when you prayed. If you believed the scriptures that promise what you prayed for and you delight in God and his word abides in you, you will praise God after praying and you will do it until your breakthrough manifests. God answers and he answers when you prayed. If you believe that, you will not seek any other evidence before you start praising God for your miracle because then you know it is done. The Word of God becomes your proof of what God says in his word. Look at the result: Acts 16:26, [26] And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” God rearranges your foundation when you begin to praise him. Everything wrong with your foundation will be removed.
“…and immediately all the doors were opened…”All doors were opened, praise God! Praise leads to open doors; in business and in everything. Do you want doors opened unto you? Pray and then praise!
“…and every one’s bands were loosed.” Hallelujah!!! Satan cannot hold a praising believer captive! Chains break and fall off when praise is rendered from the perspective of revelation and understanding!
The most incredible people in Kingdom of God are worshippers. God seeks them (John 4:24). He doesn’t seek givers (as important as that is); he seeks worshippers: those who worship him in spirit and in truth. Those who worship him because they are awed by his greatness, power, holiness and integrity!
Jesus is our High Priest and he is right where you are now to change your story.
He is there to turn your night into morning; your frustration into celebration. He said in John 10:10 that He has come that you might have life and that you may have more abundantly!
There is power in the name of Jesus to reverse shame and turn it to fame.
He has power to take away your disgrace through His grace.
Jesus is right where you are to take away sickness and give you good health.
He is there to take your poverty and give you wealth.
Today, He is where you are to take your weakness and give you His strength. He is right where you are to take your frustration and give you celebration. He wants to turn your demotion to promotion; your relegation to elevation!
There is power in His name! There is power in His blood! There is power in His word!
God is about to stop every mockery in your life with a miracle and a testimony. Jesus has come to silence every voice mocking you. God is about to give you a miracle that will silence everyone that has been mocking you, in Jesus name!
Pour your heart out to Him right now. Cry to Jesus for help right now. Most importantly, pour your praise out to him because he deserves it.
It is your time to be lifted! God will amaze you as well as your mockers. Like Hannah, you will soon hold your miracle in your hands! The laughter of your enemies will soon dry up, in Jesus name!!
