1Samuel 1:1-20
Psalm 30:5, “… weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
There are two seasons represented here: the night and the morning.
The Night talks about a season of confusion, uncertainty, pain, fear and heightened demonic activity. It talks about a need that has lingered without a solution. It talks about a need that everyone knows but no one is able to help with. It talks about a need that makes rivals or enemies to mock you or ask ‘where is your God!’ I’m talking about a need that makes you cry inside.
The night also talks about a season of need in which no one is ready or willing to help (Luke 11:5-8). It may be a demonic affliction, sickness, joblessness or whatever else the enemy can torment one with.
The night talks of a season of confusion in which you don’t know what to do. When you don’t know, you struggle but you are liberated when revelation comes. Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32). Receive everything you need to know in order to advance, now, in the name of Jesus!
Hannah was mocked by her mate for many years because of her barrenness. You may be mocked because you are poor and homeless or because you are jobless or because all your mates and friends are married and you are still single.
Are you being mocked because your mates have graduated and you still cannot gain admission into a university or because your business is not working? You may be mocked because all your mates have built houses and you to not have even a plot.
Hannah’s morning came one day and her affliction was terminated. A divine encounter changed her story. Your morning has come, in Jesus name!
The morning talks about a new and fresh dawn. It talks about a new beginning. The night is over and a new chapter of hope and blessing begins. It is the season when your prayer confronts heaven with an unusual force for urgent attention (Psalm 88:13)
God’s mercy and favour are renewed every morning (Lam 3:22-23). God’s kindness is revealed in the morning. Psalm 92:2, “To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.” It is because of his kindness that abundance is released. Get ready for divine financial breakthrough. Lack is over; money is coming into your hands supernaturally, in Jesus name!
Morning is the time of renewed energy. Psalm 110:3, “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.” The morning has a womb. It delivers fresh energy, fresh hope, fresh breakthrough, fresh anointing, fresh ideas, fresh supply, etc. Get ready for something powerful. Learn to take advantage of morning prayers and blessings.
Morning is the time when fresh dew falls on the earth to cause it to produce. Fresh dew from heaven is falling on you right now, in Jesus name! It is the season of flourishing and productivity. Psalm 90:6b, “In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up…” I decree an end to every form of stagnation in your life, in the name of Jesus! Morning is the beginning of celebration. Morning is the time of deliverance (Jeremiah 21:12); Daniel was delivered from the lions’ den in the morning (Dan 6:19). The night is over, the pain is over!! Help has come!! It is the time of the fulfilment of your dream. The night is when you dream but now you awake to fulfil the dream. Morning is the time of dominion (Psalm 49:14).
1Samuel 1:17, “Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.” It’s like Eli was saying, it’s going to be alright! God has granted your petition!
How she got her miracle
1. She maintained her fellowship with God. She went to the Shiloh to worship as was required by law every year. Her problem did not discourage her from coming to church. She knew that deliverance was in Mount Zion. “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” Obadiah 1:17. If the devil can separate you from church he can separate you from your breakthrough. Because you have come to church today, receive your deliverance now, in the name of Jesus! Receive everything that is lacking in your life right now, in the name of Jesus!
2. She arose. She confronted her problem. You cannot conquer what you do not confront. Problems do not go away just because you are born again; you must face them squarely! She acknowledged the problem but she did not surrender to it. She did not accept it as her fate in life. She kept going for what God promised. What did God promise? “There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land.” (Exodus 23:26). Satan tries to make you accept what he has given you. Her husband told her, “…am not I better to thee than ten sons?” (1Samuel 1:8). Your husband does not take the place of children. Money cannot replace children. When you are sick you don’t need a million dollars; you need healing.
Every problem tries to confer a new identity on you but you must reject it. Hannah refused to accept barrenness as her identity. Barrenness is false identity, poverty is false identity; sickness is false identity! She refused to reach a wrong conclusion about her identity. You must reject every false identity the enemy is forcing on you. You will not die without fulfilling your dreams! You will not die without having the husband or wife of your dream! You will not die poor, in the name Jesus!! You will become everything you are destined to be, in the mighty name of Jesus!
3. She prayed (1Samuel 1:10). This is the game changer! Giants fall before people who pray. Mountains move for people who pray. Seas divide for people who pray. Keep praying until your answer comes. It was no ordinary prayer. She prayed from her heart, not from her head. She was not shouting but the atmosphere created by her prayer attracted the attention of the priest. She prayed like a mad or drunken person; with the totality of her being. She was involved spirit, soul and body. She was lost in her prayer. She was intoxicated by her prayer. Your prayer cannot move God if it does not move you! Until you mean business God can affect your business.
(To be continued…)
Have a blessed week.
