It is time to stop the protests

I wish to make an observation on the on-going protests, tagged  #ENDSARS,  as it is negatively affecting the economic status of this country. If action is not quickly  taken, things may get out of hand  and chaos may reign across all parts of this country (God forbid).

From all indication, this protest is being sponsored by some unpatriotic citizens who do not have the zeal to move Nigeria forward.

The protest is unconstitutional because it violates other people’s right to free movement and therefore, it has to be stopped by any means possible. This is because the basis of the protest is unjustifiable as people’s properties are being  vandalised and the souls of innocent citizens being wasted .The whole protest exposed some selfish individuals hiding under the umbrella of safeguarding fundamental human rights.

Mr President, imagine some properties of our highly recognised and momentous business merchants being destroyed unnecessarily. For instance,  Aliko Dangote’s trucks and the likes of him are being destroyed.

This is thoroughly unacceptable.

I hope an immediate action will be taken to avoid future occurrences.
