The death has occurred of Shaykh Shuiabu Jibrin.
He died on Thursday at the age of 70 years.
Until his death, he was the Imam of Government College in Kurmin Mashi area of Kaduna state.
The Secretary General, Council of Imams and Ulama, Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyu, confirmed his death.
He is survived by two wives and 20 children.
He has been buried after Asar prayers at the Tudun Wada Muslim cemetery today.
