The Association of Muslim Intellectuals of Nigeria (AMIN) has distributed food items to 400 less privileged in Kaduna State to alleviate poverty and provide them food to break their fast (Iftar).
At the 11th edition of the annual Ramadan food distribution, which is supported by the Dangote Foundation, the National Ameer of the group, Alhaji Auwal Junaid Lawal said the food was distributed annually during Ramadan to address hunger among indigent Muslims in the state.

He appealed to other philanthropists to join AMIN to alleviate poverty among families and communities.
“We targeted 400 people, male and female adults, with the package of food items and each package includes food items that they can use to break their fast,” he said. The beneficiaries thanked the association for the gesture.
