The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has gotten a new Acting Chairman after the election of its former chairman as Deputy National President.
The new Acting Chairman, Mr Kunle Bamigboye who is the former vice chairman of the zone was sworn in and inaugurated at a brief ceremony at the weekend.
Bamigboye in his acceptance speech paid tribute to the out-gone Zonal Chairman and promise to consolidate on his modest achievements while in office.
He however commended the entire IPMAN membership in Western Zone for holding dearly to the “peace torch” which has brought about oneness and reposition their relationship with NNPC at their five depots within the zone.
While promising to sustain the unity within the zone, Bamigboye recalled that the Zone is the only one in the country that is not factionalised.
Both the new Deputy National President – Alhaji Debo Ahmed and Mr Kunle Bamigboye – the new Acting Zonal Chairman have since assumed office, our correspondent learnt.
