IPAC elects new national exco

The Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC) on Tuesday in Abuja elected a new national executive council to pilot its affairs in the next one year. Engr, Yabagi Yusuf Sani of Action Democratic Party (ADP) emerged as the new national chairman; while Mgbudem Maxwell of Accord Party was elected deputy national chairman.

Also, Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle, of Allied People’s Movement (APM) was elected national secretary; and Obidike Okolo of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) emerged national treasurer. Other officials are Dr. Olu Agunloye Social Democratic Party (SDP), national financial secretary; Ambassador Agbo Major, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NPP), returned as national publicity secretary; Comrade Egbeola Olawale Martins, Young Progressives Party (YPP), national organizing secretary; and Barr. Julius Abure Labour Party (LP), national legal adviser.

The election of the deputy national secretary of the council was suspended for an undisclosed reason.
