Iorfa commiserates with Isaiah Ipevnor over father’s death

A former Super Eagles striker, Dominic Iorfa, has commiserated with his bosom friend, Mr. Isaiah Ipevnor, over the death of his father, Pa Ipevnor Ujagah.

The octogenarian passed away on October 13, 2021, in his hometown at Tse Ipevnor Ujagah, Mbahav- Nanev in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State, the age of 89.

While condoling with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and Benue gubernatorial aspirant, Iorfa described Pa Ipevnor as a virtuous man who lived an exemplary life.

He said as a foremost community leader and lover of peace, Pa Ipevnor left behind indelible legacies, which must be emulated for peaceful and harmonious co-existence.

Iorfa, therefore, urged all family members to take solace in the good works of their father, grandfather and great grandfather.

While praying for the repose of Pa Ipevnor’s soul, he also prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“On behalf of my family, I want to express our deepest condolences and sympathy to our friend, Isaiah Ipevnor and the entire Ujagah family for the painful loss of their patriarch who lived an unblemished life.

“For those who benefitted from his wisdom and selfless life, Baba’s death is a hard blow but my prayer is for God to support everyone with the courage to overcome this monumental loss,” said the former Lobi Stars Chairman .

According to the burial programme released by the family, the first wake for Pa Ipevnor will hold on Thursday, November 4 while the final interment holds on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Tse Ipevnor Ujagah, Mbahav- Nanev in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State.
