An Igala group under the aegis of Ukomu Igala (voice of Igala) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to order the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State with respect to the bailout funds the federal government gave for payment of salaries as well as the Paris Club refund shared to states.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr Baba Ejigaý, the group said with all the monies collected by the Kogi State government, workers were still being owed about 20 months salaries and that no tangible projects had been executed.
