Internet fraudsters bag 3-year jail term in Kano

A Kano State High Court has convicted and sentenced two fraudsters, Benjamin Udeagwu and Benjamin Olamide to three years imprisonment for internet-related offences.

The court, presided over by Justice Ibrahim Karaye, according to a statement posted on Wednesday via the official X social media handle of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), convicted the two after they separately pleaded guilty to a one-count of internet fraud upon their arraignment by the Kano Zonal Command of the EFCC.
