Former Manchester United man, Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez scored a brace each yester night as Inter Milan crushed Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 to reach this year’s Europa Cup finals.
The Italian giants will battle Sevilla in the final match of Europe’s second tier inter club competition on Friday August 21. Inter took the lead early through Lautaro Martinez in the 19th minute but Shakhtar Donetsk defended stoutly to end the half a goal down.
However, Inter ran riot in the second stanza with a flurry of goals. Danilo D’Ambrosio and Martinez scored a goal each to make it three before Romelu Lukaku’s brace completed the 5-0 routing of Donetsk.
