A report by SB Morgan (SBM) Intelligence released Thursday showed that insurgents have killed 569 people, including 337 soldiers in various forms of ambush since 2019. 

SBM intelligence, a research organisation, compiles and analyses data about happenings in Nigeria.

The report also said 29 operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and the Joint Task Force were killed within the same period.

According to the report,  92 insurgents and 111 “unclassified persons” were killed in similar incidents.

It showed that North-East recorded the highest number with 53 attacks; and the North-West, nine. 

Borno recorded the highest number of attacks with 45; Zamfara, seven; Yobe, four; Kaduna, two; Katsina, two; Kebbi, one and Sokoto, one.
