The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, says the NYSC has faced challenges occasioned by the presentation of unqualified graduates for national service.
Speaking in Abuja Thursday at the opening ceremony of the 2021 Batch ‘C’ Pre-Mobilisation Workshop, he warned that any corps-producing institutions involved in any fraudulent practice would be sanctioned.

He said all stakeholders in the mobilisation process should display a sense of integrity in the discharge of their duties.
Shuaibu noted that the NYSC had recorded tremendous improvement in data integrity.
“The on-going reforms in the mobilisation process and other aspects of our operations are therefore in line with our quest to sustain this relevance,” he stated.
FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, represented by the Acting Secretary, FCT Social Development Secretariat, Kelvin Ike, said his administration would support the implementation of the NYSC’s programmes.
