Institutes get new DGs

The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Mr. Yemi Hezekiah Gbadegesin as the new Director General/Registrar/ Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology, (NISLT) Samanda, Ibadan.

A statement yesterday from the Ministry of Science and Technology said the appointment is for a period of four years and renewable for another four years.

His appointment came after the former DG, Dr. Ighoda F.Ijagbone, retired after a successful tenure. Before his appointment, Mr. Hezekiah was a director in the agency.

A letter signed by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu wishes the new DG success throughout his tenure.

 Mr. Gbadegesin has since assumed duty.

 Similarly, the Federal Government has approved the appointment of Professor Jeffery T. Barminas as the new Director General/ Chief Executive Officer of the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology (NARICT), Zaria

The appointment is for a period of four years and renewable for another for four years.

 His appointment came after the former DG, Prof. I.M. Bugaje, retired after a successful tenure. Before his appointment, Professor Jeffery was a university lecturer.

A letter signed by Dr Onu wishes him success throughout his tenure.

Professor Jeffery T. Barminas has since assumed duty.
