An Abuja based hospitality firm, Masterminds Catering and Culinary Institute (MCCI) has said that it is partnering with relevant government agencies to organise the first Taste of Abuja Festival.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja during the grand launching of the institute, Rector of the MCCI, Mrs. Khadijat Abiose Fashina, said the taste of Abuja festival will showcase local ingredients, delicacies, local crafts and arts.

She said the organization was coming on board to alleviate poverty and bring about gender parity by encouraging women to learn skills that would make them self reliant.
“There is a festival that happens all over the world and I was privileged to attend the taste of Abuh Dahbi which was supported by so many hospitality industries all over the world.
“I feel it will be very nice to replicate same here with the Taste of Abuja.
“We are here to close the skills gap in the hospitality and tourism sector”, she said
