The Chartered Institute of Development and Social Studies (CIDSS), a multi-disciplinary institute that focuses on the core issues of socio-economic development and social cohesion, has called on the Federal Government to do all it can to tackle the rising rate of poverty in the nation, saying it was ready to collaborate and bring it to the barest minimum.

In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Public Relations, Godwin Okoko, the institute also vowed support to the government in tackling the high rate of insecurity because people were living in fear due to the destruction of lives and property.
