The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) has organized a quiz competition for secondary school students in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to educate them on legislative processes.

The Director General of NILDS, Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman, Monday, said the competition was aimed at sensitising the students as well as entrenching legislative tenets and democratic ethos in the younger generation.

The competition featured 90 schools, public and private, in the FCT.

Government Secondary School, Jikwoyi, Olumawu College; School for the Gifted; Government Day Secondary School, Abaji; Handmaid Girls College, Kuje, GSS Kuje and GSS Apo emerged winners in their zones and they head to the finals at the National Assembly.
