The National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) held a two-day cultural fiesta for secondary school students in the FCT to foster unity in diversity and ensure preservation of Nigeria’s rich cultural values.

Speaking during the closing ceremony of the event, the Executive Secretary of NICO, Ado Mohammed Yahuza, said the annual children’s cultural fiesta had the primary responsibility of effecting a sense of cultural direction and relationship to meet challenges of social integration, unity, peaceful coexistence, self-reliance and national development.
