Insecurity: Special Joint Operation to commence in Katsina

A special joint security operation is to commence in Katsina to address the rising insecurity across the state.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police Operations, Abdulmajid Ali said the coming up of the operation followed the recent incessant attacks by bandits in parts of the state.

He said, the operation would be jointly been carried by military, Civil Defence and DSS, saying “hitherto we work separately but this time we choose to work jointly for better results”

“These are special officers, professionally trained and carefully chosen for this operation. We don’t have time frame for this operation but won’t last long” he said

He called for cooperation from the locals by providing useful information for proper action.
