The Senior Pastor of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Daki-Biyu District, Kubwa Branch, Abuja, Alex Ogundipe, says Nigeria is relatively peaceful compared to other countries because of the roles of all religious leaders.
Ogundipe said this while speaking with journalists shortly after the 17th Harvest Thanksgiving Service of the church, themed, ‘Supernatural Turnaround’.

“We have peace in Nigeria today because of the roles of all religious leaders; Islam, Christianity and others. They have been praying for peace. Many of the countries going through war, the kind of things happening in Nigeria never got up to that, but it is the prayers of the servants of God that has kept this country together,” he said
Commenting on the 62nd independence anniversary celebration of the nation, the clergyman charged the general public to be agents of peace.
The guest speaker, Pastor Gideon Oyedepo, said: “There is nothing that has happened to Nigeria that cannot be resolved. The unity of Nigeria is the unity of the black race and the prosperity of Nigeria is also the success of the black race.”
