A governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Adamawa State, Alhaji Said Lawal Uba, has demanded the sum of N100 billion against President Muhammadu Buhari over the insecurity in the country.
In the suit filed before a Federal High Court in Abuja, he is asking the court to compel President Buhari to sack all Service Chiefs for their alleged failure to curb insecurity in the country.

The motion, which was brought on behalf of affected victims of insecurity in the Northern region, is also asking the court to order the federal government to pay the sum to the victims.
Others sued along with Buhari are the Attorney General of the Federation, National Assembly, Senate President, Chief of Army staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Air Staff and the Inspector General of Police.
Among the reliefs sought by the plaintiff are a declaration that the respondents have failed in their constitutional responsibility to protect the lives and property of Nigerian citizens.
The matter has been fixed for March 18, 2021 for hearing.
