President Muhammadu Buhari may appear before the House of Representatives on December 10 or 15 over the deteriorating security situation in the country, House spokesman, Benjamin Kalu, has said.
The lawmakers had Tuesday summoned Buhari over the Saturday’s killing of many rice farmers in Zambarmari community in Borno State.

Addressing reporters in Abuja Thursday, Kalu said the forthcoming National Executive Committee meeting of the All Progressives Congress would not make Buhari’s appearance possible on December 8.
“So, we’re looking at December 10 or December 15. The president has broken the jinx by promising that he would appear before the house,” he said.
