The Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, Brig.-Gen. Muhammed Aminu, disclosed this after an inter-agency routine 10km walk in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Aminu explained that “It is a yearly operation throughout the country. It is an operation aimed towards the Ember Months to tackle security challenges that come towards this period. The exercise runs till January.”
The commander explained that the walk, organised by the Nigerian Army and other security/paramilitary agencies, was important for the military to keep fit.
