The commissioner who addressed newsmen in Damaturu said voting was not conducted in the affected polling units on Sunday due to insecurity and delayed arrival of materials. “The polling units are 10 in Fika, four in Potiskum, four in Yunusari while the 18 polling units of Gaidam is due to insecurity,” he said. The commissioner said the election materials have arrived the 16 polling units that experienced delay of materials, while they are yet to decide on what to do in the areas with insecurity. “Election is currently going on in Fika, Potiskum, and Yunusari.
