INEC issues Certificates of Return to 24 Edo assembly members-elect

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has issued Certificates of Return to the 24 members-elect of the Edo state House of Assembly who won at the March 9 poll.

Daily Trust reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the 24 seats in the state House of Assembly.

Speaking with journalists, one of the lawmakers-elect, Eric Okaka assured of good representation for the benefit of the people of the state.

He said that the House members will work and cooperate with the Executive towards bringing divided of democracy to the people.
