The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has slated November 28 for the conduct of a by-election for Qua’an-Pan North in the Plateau State House of Assembly.
This follows the vacancy created by the death of the lawmaker who represented the constituency.
This was contained in a press statement by INEC’s administrative secretary, Mr. Usman Baba Bukar, on behalf of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, which was made available to newsmen in Jos. INEC also assured on the conduct of free, fair and credible election, adding that about 26,832 people have collected their permanent voters cards (PVC) out of 27,316 registered voters in the constituency.
