India boat capsizes, many missing

A crowded boat has capsized on a river in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam, with many people missing and feared dead, officials say.
The motorised boat, which was carrying people to a boat race, sank on the Kolohi river in Kamrup district.
It is not clear how many people were on board, with local reports varying from between 50 and 200.
Many people managed to swim to safety, but at least 20 remain missing, reports say.
