In for the kill: Hungry lion takes down antelope who did not stand a chance

This incredible photograph captures the moment a hungry lion goes in for the kill before devouring his prey in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa. The antelope didn’t stand a chance against the king of the jungle, and was brought down after a matter of minutes. The lion grasped at the neck and soon the struggling hartebeest’s wild kicks stopped and the dust settled.He lion then dragged off his prey to a nearby low tree to begin his meal.
