Impostors compell deputy gov to suspend facebook account

The Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Silas Ali Agara, has suspended his facebook account to thwart activities of impostors using the platform to defraud unsuspecting public.

A statement signed by media aide to the deputy governor Godspower Ede, yesterday in Lafia, said the suspension is due to “strange” posts requesting financial inducement for job placements and other favours.

The statement added that the deputy governor wants those already engaged in any kind of transaction or correspondence with the impostors to immediately desist.
