The immediate past Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Chief George Moghalu, has asked Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), and other key players in the country to think out of the box to ensure full implementation of the 2024 budget.
In an interview with Daily Trust in Abuja, Moghalu said though he is optimistic the 2024 budget, if passed, would be implemented, MDAs and other critical stakeholders must think out of the box to ensure its full implementation.
The former NIWA DG said, “I have confidence that the 2024 budget will be fully implemented. The only challenge is that we must not lose sight of the fact that the resources available do not add up.

“So, it requires the agencies of government, it requires the ministers, it requires the MDAs to think out of the box on how they can improve on internally generated revenue; how they can improve on diversifying the economy.
