A former Minister of Aviation, Kema Chikwe and her counterpart in the Ministry of External Affairs, Prof. Viola Onwuluri, were among those that made up a 160-member transition committee set up by the Imo state Governor-elect, Emeka Ihedioha.
The committee is headed by Dr. Ernest Ebi as chairman, Chikwe as vice chairman and Chinedu Okpaleke as Secretary.
The transition commuter has 12 sub-committees on different aspects.
These are Projects Review Sub-Committee, Finance Review and Funding Initiative Sub-Committee, Integrated Infrastructure Sub-Committee, Human Capital Development Sub-Committee and Good Governance Sub-Committee.
Others are Agriculture, Commerce and Industries Sub-Committee, Job and Wealth Creation Sub-Committee, amongst others.
A statement signed by the media aide to the governor-elect, Chibuike Onyeukwu, said the committee will be inaugurated on Wednesday by 12noon at the Rockview Hotel, Owerri.
