A group under the aegis of the Coalition of Imo State Stakeholders for Good Governance has described the November 11, 2023, governorship election in the state as free, fair and peaceful.
Addressing newsmen during a solidarity match to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja on Monday, a co-convener of the group, Dr Ndubuisi Ugochukwu, said the election was the most orderly and unique, without any rancour, in the history of the state.
He said despite that naysayers predicted doom, bloodshed and chaos ahead of the election, voters came out in their large numbers.
