Imo APC guber primaries: We’re not aware of appeal panel’s decision – Coalition

Convener of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Restoration Coalition in Imo State, Dr. Theodore Ekechi, has said that the coalition is not aware of the decision of the party’s governorship primaries appeal panel upholding the election of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as the party’s flagbearer in the 2019 governorship election in the state.

Ekechi, who spoke to our correspondent on telephone on Thursday, said that he would confirm it, stressing however that it would be contrary to common sense because the case is before a court of competent jurisdiction.

He however did not dismiss the story, saying that in an era of money politics, anything could be obtainable.

He said, “I have seen a couple of the reports online and it would be against common sense and natural justice because the case just came up yesterday where we were all together including Uche Nwosu. But in this days of ‘Ghana -must -go politics everything is possible.”
