Imo APC guber primaries: Gulak absconds after declaring Uzodinma winner

There is confusion in Imo State as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in the state, Ahmed Gulak, in the early hours of Tuessdsy declared Senator Hope Uzodinma as the winner of the primary election in the state.

This was after he had addressed newsmen about 11.30 Monday night, where he announced the postponement of the election to Tuesday.

Gulak was said to have absconded from his hotel room, leaving other members of the committee behind.

As at the time of writing, other members are billed to address the press.
