The Kano Comptroller of Immigration Dr. B U Ifeadi who presented the letters of appointment to younger brothers of late Mohammed Falalu and late Balarabe Da`u Idris said it was a directive from the president through minister of interior and Comptroller General of Immigration that the late officers be replaced with their immediate brothers.

Dr. Ifeadi said by presentation of the letters, the two men Mohammed Ali Jibril and Shamsudeen Sa`ad would proceed to Abuja for enlistment and documentation after which they would return to the command and be given training and posted in accordance with their entry qualifications.

He said the service has to show deep concern to the deceased personnel because of the gallantry and bravery they had shown during the attack without which Immigration could have lost more than 40 lives.

The comptroller on behalf of the federal government, ministry of interior and Comptroller General of Immigration expressed sympathy to the families of the victims and urged the newly recruited personnel to emulate their elder brothers and live up to expectation.

Father of late Falalu Malam Mujitaba Abdulkadir who responded on behalf of the families thanked the Immigration Service for the gesture, saying that it was a demonstration that the force has concern for family members of its personnel.
