Leading hundreds of party supporters to the party secretariat to pick the form at the weekend, Barrister Imasuagbon said with the picking of the form, the journey to the Osadebe House the state’s seat of power has begun.
He told party loyalists to join in the train as he said there would be no going back in the struggle to unseat the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN)-led administration in the state.
Imasuagbon said “this form would bring hope and prosperity to the people, chase away failure and compensate all those whose houses had been demolished by the Oshiomhole administration.”
While promising his party supporters that he would win the party primaries coming up later this month, Imasuangbon, however, said if the election would be free and fair, he was ready to work with any other person who wins the ticket, this he said is because “the PDP has the finest team of players in the state.”
He called on other aspirants to play by the rules and avoid violence during the primaries, adding that the election is not a do-or-die affair, but what is at stake is job creation and security which he said are what the state needs now.
Barrister Imasuangbon collected the form after paying N5.5million which was given to him by the state PDP Accountant Abu Momoh.
