Ace Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau, has distanced herself from a campaign list of high-profile women saddled with the task of working for the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the forthcoming presidential election.
In the 70-page campaign document, no fewer than 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were enlisted for Tinubu’s Women Campaign Council.

While distancing herself from the list, which was released on Saturday, the actress described the news as a ‘big fat lie’.
Taking to her verified Twitter account, the thespian wrote, “THIS IS A BIG FAT LIEEEEE… I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS… I DON’T KNOW HOW MY NAME MADE IT TO THIS LIST, NOT IN ANY WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS.”(sic)

On Independence Day, the ruling All Progressives Congress announced the composition of the women’s campaign train with First Lady, Aisha Buhari; Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Hajiya Nana, wife of the vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, leading the pack.
Some thespians who made the list include; Joke Silva who chairs the category, Fausat Balogun, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello among others.
