Amaechi, who spoke during his visit to the place of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, said he did not belong to any geopolitical bloc as far as his presidential ambition is concerned.
‘’I’m not a Hausa/Fulani candidate, I’m not a Yoruba candidate, I’m not an Igbo candidate and I’m not even a Kalabari candidate, but a Nigerian candidate,” he said.
Responding, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, said the former governor of Rivers State shares the same attribute with him on the oneness of Nigeria.
He harped on the unity of the country, stressing that “irrespective of language, tribe or religion, we are all brothers and sisters.”
